Emanuel School, in conjunction with Shalom Sydney Jewish Writers Festival, will host the launch of Shira Sebban’s book, Unlocking the Past: Stories From My Mother’s Diary.

Israel Embassy Spokesperson and Cultural Attaché Dorit Herscovici and UNSW Associate Professor Leanne Piggott will officially launch Sebban’s collection of creative non-fiction short stories about Israel in the mid 1950s, based on her mother’s diary which was only discovered after her death.
