Founded 30 years ago by Saul and Beverly Spigler, RARA has sent Rabbis and Bocharim to over 250 cities and towns and has helped to create and assist in 12 regional Jewish communities throughout Australia.
The Jewish Discovery Weekend Shabbaton, organised by Malki and Yossi gives participants an opportunity to experience an authentic Shabbat connection. The Melbourne Letter Writing at the home of Tommy and Issy Jacob was the preliminary event to launch the Siyum Sefer Torah in Cairns, where Rabbi Ari Rubin and his wife Mushkie Rubin have set up a Jewish community shtiebel as a hub for spiritual, cultural and outreach centre in FNQ.
