Justine Sachs and Nadia Abu-Shanab co-wrote a letter to music icon Lorde published on online New Zealand -based news source Spinoff which allegedly prompted the singer to cancel her Tel Aviv concert due in 2018.

The women wrote:

“Dear Lorde … we’re two young women based in Aotearoa, one Jewish, one Palestinian.

Today, millions of people stand opposed to the Israeli government’s policies of oppression, ethnic cleansing, human rights violations, occupation and apartheid. As part of this struggle, we believe that an economic, intellectual and artistic boycott is an effective way of speaking out against these crimes. This worked very effectively against apartheid in South Africa, and we hope it can work again.

We can play an important role in challenging injustice today. We urge you to act in the spirit of progressive New Zealanders who came before you and continue their legacy.”

    Bigoted,Delusional p Sychopaths

  2. Adrian Jackson says:

So much intolerance of other Israelis point of view here and Israel is always touted as the only democracy in the region.

    • john nemesh says:

please Adrian, elucidate us all of your tolerant views , especially BDS….

    • Rafi Plotkin says:

Intolerance of an organisation that promotes bigotry, hatred and prejudice.

  3. john nemesh says:

    who is this woman?

is she a totalitarian self hating trotskyist?

    • Adrian Jackson says:

Trotsky was involved with the creation of collective farms in the USSR which became the kibbutz in Israel last century.

      • Jonathan Silver says:

Collective farms were started by Joseph Stalin in about 1929.The first Kibbutz was started in 1909.
Adrian you have got your history mixed up.

        • Rafi Plotkin says:

Poor Adrian has once again exposed himself as ignorant and the master of spin.Trotsky was persona non grata in Russia so his views were never adopted by the powers that be.In fact he was assinated on the orders of Stalin, who was the founder of collectivisation in the USSR.

      • Jonny Kagan says:

Trotsky highlights the most important of these ‘zigzags’ in the field of economic policy, criticizing Stalin and Bukharin’s policy of at first opposing voluntary collectivization and increasing privatization of land and then of an abrupt U-turn to break-neck industrialisation and forced collectivisation, which Trotsky brands “economic adventurism” that carried “the nation to the edge of disaster ”

Extract from a biography of Trotsky, which shows that he was against collectivisation

I am sorry for Justine Sachs. My experience has been if you are not proud of who you are, no-one respects you. You are always looked on as a second-rate citizen in the country you live in. You can never escape the truth, someone will always find out your background and treat you with contempt as you did not stick up to your real self.

  5. Robert Weil says:

Sadly typical of too many millennial Jews today, utterly ignorant of their heritage, expressing their Jewish identity by attacking Israel and becoming darlings of anti-Israel agitators on college campuses and in the left-wing media.

    • Adrian Jackson says:

      Ohh really?

      • Rafi Plotkin says:

Yes really. Demonising Israel is a good career move at many universities today.

Institutions such as SOAS ( a college of The University of London ) are so anti Israel and anti Semitic that it has been RENAMED – The School of Anti Semitism.
Religious Jews are vilified and abused particularly when wearing kipot at this institution where anti Zionism is seen as a politically correct expression of anti Semitism.

  6. Lynne Newington says:

Sounds like they need to do a course in history…..

  7. Stan Black says:

Sad that we have idiots like Justine Sachs working to delegitimise the only democracy in the Middle East.
I hope she can sleep at nights when she realises how she has betrayed her own people and played into the hands of anti-Semites who would kill her at the drop of a hat.

    • Adrian Jackson says:

      Misogynist and ridiculous comment.

      • Rafi Plotkin says:

Nothing Stan has written is any way a display of misogyny and you are a guilty of uneducated pomposity.
Adrian you sound like an undergraduate finding their way through a world of complexity, holding onto cliches without any form of understanding nor wisdom.

        • Stanley Black says:

Thanks for your comment and support Rafi.I made a decision some time ago not to engage ignorant, armchair slogan posters.
Sadly, Adrian seems to fit this description. I’d love him to be able to back up his ” misogynist ” accusation but he won’t because he can’t.
          Shalom.

          • Stan Black says:

Just read that Ringo Starr is having two concerts in Israel fairly soon.
I wonder if the B.D.S. stooges will be writing to him. I can imagine his reply!!

          • Harold Weiner says:

Adrian sounds like a callow youth.I doubt he knows the meaning of the word.He should call J.Gillard for an explanation.

  8. Phillip Cowley says:

I am not Jewish but am very concerned by the platform given to BDS by TVNZ One News on Christmas Day.
