An information service for working Jews looking to eat lunch in a Sukkah during Chol Hamoed is now active in 24 countries.

Typical Sukkah

The service was launched in Melbourne 18 years ago.

Although most Sukkahs for public use are located in synagogues and schools there are some registered in shopping centres and universities.

The Sukkahs welcome Jews from anywhere in the world and there is no charge  for the service.

The online register is at www.localsukkah.org and  the list is still open for new Sukkahs. If you have one to offer email register@localsukkah.org.
