On Friday 24 November, nine leading Melbourne Jewish organisations; Jewish Care, Jewish Community Council of Victoria, Tzedek, National Council of Jewish Women of Australia, Unchain My Heart, Maccabi, Progressive Judaism Victoria, Impact, and the Rabbinical Council of Victoria, will come together to send a clear message that the Victorian Jewish community stands united in saying ‘No’ to family violence at the Annual Walk Against Family Violence.

An annual event, the Walk Against Family Violence begins at Federation Square, and aims to raise awareness of family violence and the impact it has on the community, and remember those who have lost their lives to family violence.

All members of the Victorian Jewish Community are encouraged to join the Walk Against Family Violence. Look for our banner at Federation Square before 1:00pm.

  1. Henry Herzog says:

Everyone, without question, must stand against family violence. It’s that bloody obvious, that no statements are required. What next, leading Jewish organizations standing together to say, violence and abuse towards anyone is unacceptable.
