KTC meet basketballers

KTC Primary Year 4 and 5 boys have attended the formal launch of the National Basketball League’s new Community Program, in Sydney.

KTC was one of only two schools invited to participate in the event, which was attended by  Basketball Australia Chair and former NSW Premier Kristina Keneally, Julian Khazzouh and Luke Martin of the Sydney Kings, Dave Gruber, Kevin Ratzsch and Oscar Forman of the Wollongong Hawks and BA CEO Larry Sengstock at Alexandria Basketball Stadium.
The program aim to raise the profile of Basketball by having NBL players and coaches visit over 150,000 school age children over the next 12 months. Together with KTC Principal, Rabbi Dr Noteh Glogauer, and sports teachers Ms Anika Krause and Mr Dean Cohen,  KTC students had the opportunity to participate in fantastic Basketball related activities with the Sydney Kings and Wollongong Hawks players, collect autographs and be photographed with the team members.
