Sydney’s Kornmehl Emanuel Pre-schoolt is to help to provide basic ‘health care packs’ for Aboriginal children who live in country NSW.

Terry Aizen, Director of the Kornmehl Emanuel Pre-school, who immediately contacted other Schools and Pre-schools in the area, asking for their combined help commented, “The response was overwhelming with over 1,000 Care Packs donated to the cause. The enthusiasm of the children and families has just been astounding. I thank the community for their support and enthusiasm in helping to bring a smile to the faces of Aboriginal children in outback Pre-schools across NSW.”
The Kornmehl children were involved in bringing in their Care Packs which included basic toiletries and undergarments. They also helped to sort the many items and place them into boxes for delivery. When they were finished, Max (age 5) commented, “It’s a castle of Care Packs!”
Kornmehl Emanuel Pre-school acknowledges and appreciates the support from the following educational facilities: Emanuel School, Moriah College Pre-schools, Mount Sinai Pre-school, Coogee Batory Kindergarten, Yolanda Kramer Kindergarten, Masada College Early Learning Centre, Emanuel Woollahra Pre-school, Hug-a-Bub Long Day Care Centre, Marli Marli Learn & Play in North Bondi and Kincoppal – Rosebay.
Sydney’s Kornmehl Emanuel Pre-schoolt responded to a request from Gunawirra, a not-for-profit charity that supports Aboriginal country pre-schools.
