Ygal Shapir updates supporters
Before hearing of the planned work for the JAC which is due to open in November, executive director of JNF NSW Ygal Shapir updated the JNF supporters on the latest development of its Australian funded projects in Israel.
Shapir told J-Wire: “Our projects are aimed at improving the standard of living in the Negev and the Galilee, and attracting people to come and live there which will add to fulfilling Ben Gurion’s vision. Last but not least, we heard from Major General (res.) Oren Shachor about the situation in the middle east, a personal view of one who meets Palestinians on regular basis these days and visit often the Arab countries around Israel.
