JEMS at OBK
JEMs (Jewish Education Matters) and Our Big Kitchen joined forces to create a pre Rosh Hashana Expo.
The expo is part of a round the year series of pre-holiday activities run before each major chag by JEMs and OBK.
The families enjoyed watching a beekeeper produce honey and seeing the bees in action. Making a Shofar, taking a photo as a apple in a huge honey jar, baking round Challah and biscuits for Rosh Hashana was enjoyed by all.
“Children got a full Rosh Hashana experience and quality time with their parents, much fun was had by all and of course a special thanks to the whole Slavin family, Greg Fisher and the OBK team and Rabbi Chaim & Mushka Munitz for coming together to produce this beautiful event” said Rabbi Yossi Shuchat director of JEMs.
