Jennifer Huppert, President of the JCCV stated:  “ The JCCV welcomes this significant step towards healing the wounds from the cases of child abuse at the Yeshivah Centre, and the serious issues highlighted at the Royal Commission.

We hope that this helps victims, and that the Yeshivah Centre implements fully accountable governance structures and ensures that its child protection policies and procedures are fully implemented and followed.

The JCCV is pleased that Yeshivah Beth Rivkah College has participated in the JCCV child protection policies and procedures training in 2015 and is working to improve its governance structures. We hope that the new administration at Yeshivah are empathetic, understanding and supportive to all victims and their families.”

If what Rabbi Telsner says is a reflection of what everyone else in the Yeshiva community thinks, no wonder there have been the problems that contributed to the sexual abuse of children and youth. The response of said community to Manny and Zafania Wiks reeks of the Dark Ages. What a closed shop!

What a disgrace the JCCV is!

A decent, charitable and honest person has been destroyed – because he said what EVERYONE else in the Yeshiva community thinks.

So now we must get rid of every rabbi or employee who isn’t prepared to follow the politically-correct line.

Shame on the JCCV and shame of the Yeshiva committee who demanded/accepted Rabbi Telsner’s resignation.

Why not simply hand over the entire YBR organisation (including the Shul) to that delightful pair Manny and Zefania Wks?
