I saw this too. Nothing amiss here. The posters were placed on pillars throughout the store, including the veges section and others.

Very sweet and warm of Woolworths to greet it’s customers with these lovely notices!

That some hot cross buns were in on area that also had a pesach sign was not deliberate. Signs were everywhere.

    Love Woolies DB!

    Well Jesus Christ was Jewish?

Boy are these bakers confused. In many historically Christian countries, the buns are traditionally standing as a symbol of the crucifixion. Actually, Jews should rename the day Bad Friday as non Jews chose this particular day to justify murdering Jews throughout the centuries.

Our Australian society have gone past this assumption. What was the religion of our first Australian Governor-General and the first leader of the Army. Such logic is understandable but only assists to continue the underlying problem . Please some positiv3e inputs,

Michael, your comments got me thinking. On reflection I see I was being way to negative – bordering on paranoia. Famous Aussie Jews such as Sir Isaac Isaacs and John Monash were examples of how Jews in Australia have been able to aspire and reach great heights of office. I myself have not been subjected to antisemitism and it’s time for me to accept and move on. The sign was funny. Much appreciated.

Hang on, Jesus was executed by the Romans after a mob of mostly Jews citizens chanted “Give us Barbarous”.
