Special guest this year was renowned Australian born composer, musical director and performer Warren Wills. After speaking about his incredible journey from his days at Mount Scopus College to his rise at becoming a world renowned composer and performer, Wills took to the stage and performed a solo piece on the piano and was later joined by the amazing voices of Fem Belling and David Gould.

Delysia Pahoff, who has chaired the Friends of Montefiore committee for the past 30 years, was extremely proud to announce that $950,000 has been raised over that period. The additional funds raised from this year’s event will take total donations over $1million and will be used to purchase new low beds and pressure relieving tub and mobility chairs for Jewish Care aged care residents.

To celebrate and honour Mrs Pahoff’s dedication and service, Jewish Care President Mike Debinski presented her with a certificate and gift.

“The commitment, hard work and generosity demonstrated by Delysia is something we are extremely proud of. Supported by her loyal and long standing committee, their contribution to the health and wellbeing of the Jewish community is worth a million and more!” Debinski said.
