Ashley Browne, former editor of the Australian Jewish News, has launched a new sports web site.

Backpagelead is the brainchild of Browne whose journalistic background was formerly in the sporting area before he became editor of the AJN.

Browne told J-Wire: “It’s a mammoth task to cover the world of sport but we will be focusing on the areas we feel Australians are more interested in.
