Follow the money trail…writes Michael Kuttner

Following the billions flowing into the bottomless coffers of our so-called “peace partners” and those organisations supporting them leads one with a lot of questions.

QUOTE: Forget what they told you. You want the truth? Follow the money!”

Michael Kuttner

Whatever happened to all that money? Where did it all end up? Why is there nothing productive to show for it? How much longer can the international community be milked? What will it take for donor nations to pull the plug?

The answers to these questions are long overdue. The fact that it has taken so long for the subject to gain any traction merely attests to either the gross gullibility of those nations involved or a deliberate determination to ignore non accountability and evil intent. All available evidence points to the latter.

Four examples should suffice to show that this bountiful money trail, funded by taxpayers, leads to the promotion of terror, prolonging the misery of refugees and campaigns of hate against Israel, amongst other things.

The use of international donor aid to pay the salaries of jailed terrorists who have murdered Israelis and the payment of pensions to families of terrorists killed in the act of carrying out their jihad terror has been going on for years. Until the advent of the Trump administration a blind eye was turned towards this scandal by the US State Department. This of course served as an example for the rest of the UN and despite Israeli protestations it was business as usual. Now that there is a new wind blowing in Washington, lo and behold those who previously refused to acknowledge that there was a problem are waking up. Mind you, not all have yet made the mental leap from denial to acknowledgement and no doubt there will be many who will never abandon their blinkered bias.

The reaction of the Abbas kleptocracy is a wonder to behold. It has accused the Israeli PM of using “racist rhetoric” for having the audacity to call Palestinian security prisoners as “terrorists.”  The PA foreign policy adviser let the cat out of the bag when he read out a message from Abbas recently at a conference in Israel:

“800,000 Palestinians have been detained in Israeli prisons since the occupation of 1967 and close to one million since 1948. Payments to support families are a social responsibility to look after innocent people affected by the incarceration or killing of their loved ones.”

Note very carefully that this statement in effect claims all of Israel is occupied since 1948 and that all terrorists are innocent. Anyone who still thinks that genuine peace can be achieved with those who spout this sort of garbage and who intend to continue using foreign aid to reward terror need to take a serious reality check.

Meanwhile UNRWA which has successfully perpetuated the refugee problem since 1948 and which receives millions annually continues to be part of the problem rather than the solution. Children’s summer camps where Palestinian Arab youngsters will once again be receiving training in how to murder Israelis are about to commence. So long as donor nations keep pouring taxpayers’ money into UNRWA’s bottomless pit and there is no proper accountability countless generations of Palestinian Arabs remain doomed to permanent refugee status and cycles of misery and deprivation.

In an effort to wrest control from Hamastan in Gaza the Fatah dominated PA is now putting a squeeze on the flow of money it allows into that terror infested territory. A direct result of this intra Arab rivalry is a developing medical crisis so far mainly unreported by the international media. Israel routinely treats Arabs from Gaza, Judea and Samaria in its hospitals. In order to receive such care patients must first obtain a referral from the PA and a guarantee of payment. It now seems that the PA in Ramallah as part of its conflict with Hamas is refusing to issue such permits and as a result those in Gaza needing urgent medical care cannot get it. Needless to say Israel is being blamed for a humanitarian crisis which in actual fact has nothing to do with it.

It is worth bearing in mind that if Hamas had used some of the money it receives from donor nations towards providing decent health care this sorry state of affairs would not exist. In a speech given by the head of IDF Intelligence he reported that “Iran is funding Hezbollah to the tune of US$75 million a year while paying US$50 million of Hamas’s budget and giving US$70 million to Islamic Jihad.”

We can thank Obama & Kerry for this largesse and financial sponsorship of international terror groups.

It has also been revealed that Israel has let into Gaza four times the volume of building materials required to build one of the world’s largest buildings yet Hamas is using this for preparing for war rather than constructing hospitals, clinics, schools and rehousing refugees.

The new “Sultan” of Turkey who dreams of restoring the glory days of the Ottoman Empire is directing vast amounts of money towards financing Moslem sites in Jerusalem and whipping up incitement against a legitimate Jewish presence. Turkish encouragement of denying a Jewish historical connection to the Temple Mount in particular and Jerusalem in general and encouragement of riots, protests and other actions demonstrates their real agenda. Financing baseless claims and fomenting hate is a criminal use of money which could be usefully applied elsewhere.

The money trails are clearly tracked. We and the international community ignore their toxic use at our peril.
