Sydney’s North Shore Temple Emanuel (NSTE), a non-profit organisation, is seeking a part-time Temple Administrator.We are looking to hire a Temple Administrator to join our dynamic, highly effective and passionate small office team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for administration, project management and governance related activities.

  • Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for the following:

    • Leadership and direction of the Office team
    • HR matters of the NSTE Office and affiliates
    • Project management of major fund-raising programs and grant applications
    • Administration and contract management of grounds, facilities, maintenance, third

      party partnerships and premise rental

    • Board of Directors communication and reporting
    • Budgetary control and analysis including basic day-to-day accounting
    • Governance, insurance and risk management
    • Engagement with members, external providers, local council and affiliated NSTE

      entities

      Qualified applicants will possess

    • Business degree and/or relevant senior management experience
    • Good understanding of governance administration processes
    • Strong written communication skills
    • Demonstrated verbal communication skills
    • Strong planning and organisational skills
    • Relevant demonstrated project management and report writing experience
    • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
    • PC literate (Google docs, Microsoft Office skills)
    • Prior experience with Xero accounting an asset

      This role is part-time, 20-25 hours per week. The incumbent must be able to attend evening monthly Board meetings and other events outside of regular business hours.
