The series will provide in-depth analysis and expert speakers to explore the issues of greatest concern to the Jewish community, including Israel and the Middle East, Jewish culture and identity, and matters of Australian public policy that particularly affect our community.

The first instalment in this series will feature Associate Professor John Langdale from the Centre for Policy, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism in conversation with Alex Ryvchin discussing the issues of terrorism financing and how energy security in the Middle East threatens to send the region into further chaos.

Alex Ryvchin comment: “This series will provide fascinating insight into issues at the core of Jewish life. We will take a close look at different segments of our community, ponder questions of Jewish identity, and discuss the issues central to the future of Israel. The ECAJ is pleased to be joining with B’nai Brith to bring this series to the community.”

The opening interview and panel discussion will take place tomorrow night at the B’nai B’rith Centre in Yurong St.
