Dave Sharma visits Wolper

Liberal Member for Wentworth Dave Sharma has made an official visit to Sydney’s Wolper Jewish Hospital.

Dave Sharma was welcomed by the President of Wolper, Daniel Goulburn who told him the hospital’s history, its place in the local community, the various services provided and the foundation established by the hospital to support health and wellbeing initiatives in the broader community.

Daniel Goulburnsaid: “It was a pleasure having Mr Sharma tour Wolper Jewish Hospital and spend time with us.  He is a very good friend of the Australian Jewish community and I am sure he now has a better understanding of the services that we provide not only to the Jewish community but also to many non-Jewish patients who are constituents in his federal electorate of Wentworth.”

During the visit, the MP was taken on a tour of the hospital, including the medical and rehabilitation wards as well as the hospital’s physiotherapy and hydrotherapy facilities.

After meeting several members of staff Mr Sharma described Wolper as possessing a “passionate and stellar team working tirelessly to provide fantastic medical and rehabilitation services…”

“We greatly appreciate the interest Dave Sharma showed in the Hospital and wish him all the best in his future endeavours as our representative for the Electorate of Wentworth in the House of Representatives,” concluded Goulburn.
