In his new role Josh Burns will advise the Premier on the ins and outs of what’s happening in the chamber and the all-important relations with cross-benchers.

Bren Carlill worked formerly for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade following a stint at the Australia/Israel & Jewish Affairs Council (AIJAC) and Palestinian Media Watch (PMW). “Bren comes with an excellent reputation as a writer and an analyst and will also be part of my Canberra team”, Michael Danby said.

Josh Burns said that the past three years had been a pleasure working in Michael Danby’s office but he was ready for a fresh challenge. Burns said ‘I wish Bren and all of Michael Danby’s team every success and thank them for all of their efforts.’ Bren said ‘Josh will be a natural on Spring St.’
