Governor Bashir praised the work done by the Kitchen and was joined on the podium by members of the Emergency services including representatives from the Police, Fire Brigade and Ambulance services.

Our Big Kitchen executive director Rabbi Dovid Slavin told the audience that more often than not, the work of the emergency services was taken for granted. He has launched a web site www.thankyou.org.au on which Australians from all cultural backgrounds can express their gratitude for the work done by members of Emergency Services.
