Something for Everyone…Enjoy! Celebrate!

 

On Sunday 2 December, at 5pm at the Centre, there will be a Children’s Carnival followed by a Family Trivia Night with prizes. This Chanukah party will be a most enjoyable evening, full of light and happiness.

On 5 December, at 6pm, the young adults of the community will be preparing their own doughnuts as well as having some refreshments and games.

On 7 December at 6.15 at the Centre, the Shlichim are organising a musical Kabbalat Shabbat and candle lighting. If you can play an instrument please contact the Shlichim for the chords you will need.

Saturday 8 December, at the ACTJC Centre, from 7.30pm onwards
adults can enjoy a Chanukah Cheese and Spirits’ Social.Leave the kids at home, bring your menorah, and join us for a candle-lit evening of mingling over kosher nibbles, beer and spirits!

A family Chanukah picnic will be held on 2 December from 4pm at Parsley Bay Beach. Bring a picnic dinner, sufganiyot will be supplied. On 9 December, 10.30am-12.30pm, celebrate the Festival of Light with Kabbalah meditation, gentle stretches, relaxation and an inspirational text about “Your Inner Light” with Rabbi Dr Orna Triguboff, Kabbalah teacher, and David Goldman, clinical psychologist and musician. The day begins in VJs at 9:45 am with a program run by Rabbi Nicole and K-1 teacher Symone Miller, followed by fun activities in honour of the Apples & Honey Pre-School Open Day in the newly renovated building.

Every afternoon at 5 pm from Monday, December 3 to Thursday, December 6 and enjoy latkes and doughnuts. Then, be part of the grand menorah lighting on Friday, December 7 at 6:45 pm, which will be followed by the Shabbat service, a kids’ program and dinner.
