Victor Dominello, the NSW Minister for Citizenship and Communities and Minister for Aboriginal Affairs has had a new Ministry added to his portfolio…he is now Minister for Our Big Kitchen.

At a tongue in the cheek ceremony at the kitchen in Sydney’s Bondi Yeshiva complex, the charismatic politician was presented with his new certificate appointing him as a minister by the OBK’s CEO Rabbi Dovid Slavin….but not before he donned his apron and got busy helping Year 11 Moriah students prepare food for OBK’s community activities.

In accepting the position ], Dominello said “it was the greatest honour I have received since being appointed a Government minister by Premier Barry O’Farrell.”

Rabbi Slavin told J-Wire: “It was a natural thing for us to do. His portfolio crosses over deeply into the territory of the work we do.”

Our Big Kitchen is a registered provider of food for the State Emergency Services and various charities. It is also an approved place of work for those committed by the courts to perform community work through the department of Corrective Service.

The Our Big Kitchen and Rabbi Dovid are doing such great work for the community, if we had more places like Our Big Kitchen around the globe the world would be a warm, nurturing, caring environment for all people, and Victor Dominello is really a great guy, and is perfect man for the title ‘minister of Our Big Kitchen!’
    Well Done!
