Manny Waks heads the Canberra [ACT] Jewish community and was delighted to accept an invitation to visit The Lodge on Australia Day.

He told J-Wire: “I was invited to the official Australia Day Reception at The Lodge by the Prime Minister and Mr Tim Mathieson in my capacity as President of the ACT Jewish Community. Many other dignitaries were present, including ambassadors, senior public servants, union officials, and community and business leaders.”
Waks thanked the Prime Minister for her support of both the Jewish community and, personally, as a dual Australian-Israeli citizen, the State of Israel.
