The hunt for those responsible for the 1982 bombings of the Israeli Consulate and the Hakoah Club on December 23, 1982 will continue for “as long as it takes”.

Persons of interest

At a specially-convened conference in Sydney this morning Assistant Commissioner Peter Dein, commander of the Counter Terrorism and Special Tactics Strategy Unit And Detective Superintendent Wayne Gordon updated media on the investigations stressing the importance of modern day technology to procure the evidence the are seeking.

Responding to questioning the officers said that people of interest were still residing in Sydney today.

Following the conference, a police spokesman confirmed to J-Wire that monetary rewards for information would be announced in the very near future.

    Tell you what !

I watched the 1st episode of “Cold Case and Two Blokes who Polished it Off ” and reckon the American TV version aint got nothin’ on our top performers, except for throwing in a hot sheila !!! That gong goes also for the “Best Commedy Act” cathegory. Why :
As one the more talkative cold -caser said : The publicity is meant to:
    – give enough time to anyone – known or otherwise to flee NSW, Australia, Southern Hemisphere via:
    – Qantas, Sing. Ailines, Etihad, Virgin or even STA, as they must be by now senior citizens and with only $2.50 per day they can take it easy via bus/train/ ferry and still be well ahead of the brilliant detectives, as shown in the 1st episode.
    – give enough breathing space and reason to be hapy with themselves ( the same two blokes in the 1st episode ) to retire, say – by the lookes of them – early next week satisfied that the last 30 years have not been in vain, including the compulsory weekly bondig sessions at their favourite local.

So the unasked question is :

why on this Earth did those cops need to make public that an investigation (!!!!) of this nature is underway !!?? What are they really, really hoping to gain by NOTIFYING all those who KNOW that they could be “investigated” !!?? COME FORWARD and admit that they are guilty, and, as responsible Australian citiznens they dont want to see Jews being worried again about them and also that valuable State police funds should not be wasted.

More on the topic, but stay tuned for the next episode in which you will be rivetted by what the same protagonists have still not discoverd ………….
You’ve got cold, just wait for even colder !!!
