Ira Miller is the former men’s and women’s tennis coach at division I Fairleigh Dickinson University who has recently accepted the men’s tennis position at the university.

He told J-Wire: “Yeshiva is a great academic school, ranked at #47 in the U.S, with one of the best law and med faculties in the country. It is a religious Jewish university that is open to anyone.

I expect to build  a division III program into a national powerhouse, utilising its excellent indoor court option. Although athletic scholarships are not allowed to be offered to anyone, they do offer academic scholarships and financial aid based on need to international students.”

If you know of any players interested in this particular type of education, who want to get great coaching and compete at a top level, keep Miller in mind.

Miller added: “The division III rules are way more flexible than division I or II. No NCAA Eligibility Center to clear. If you’re accepted to the school and cleared from an amateur standpoint your eligible to play at any age, even if you’ve been out of high school for awhile. The SAT is not required, although a decent TOEFL score is (84 is the minimum, with some flexibility).
