Chairman of the Hawkes Bay Friends of Israel Assn. John McCormick has sent an open letter to New Zealand’s Foreign Minister Murray McCully following  NZ’s co-sponsorship of a U.N. Security Council resolution condemning Israel’s continued settlements.

McCormick wrote:

“Dear Murray,

Ambassador Gerberg [2nd rt and his son Tomer[. John McCormack is at the right.

Your resolution is completely one sided. You were silent on the UNESCO nonsense and in the past you have voted against Israel at the World Health Forum where you supported a Syrian resolution condemning Israel’s treatment of her Druse citizens. What bloody nonsense is that.

You said on radio today you hoped the vote would not effect relations with the incoming Trump government. Well you should have thought about before you voted.

You have hung your hat on Obama’s hock.

Your choice.

Your are a bit different to what you were in Feb 2009 (Feb 17th) when you told me we would not be going to Durban 2.

What’s happened?

Call me – we need to talk.

John McCormick
Waipukurau”

Mr. McCormick, the public needs more information for your letter to be intelligible.. otherwise you should have just sent it privately.. But I am at a loss for some one to “hang his hat” down near a horse’s hoof!
    Very strange..
    Regards..
