Australia’s B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission has expressed its profound distress and alarm about  the escalating wave of Palestinian terrorist attacks sweeping Israel that has resulted in the wounding of more than a dozen of Israeli civilians and soldiers.

Dr Dvir Abramovich, Chairman of the ADC, issued the following statement: “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families as this  endless string of wanton assaults on Israelis in the streets of  Jerusalem, Petah Tikva, Kiryat Arba, Afula and Tel Aviv continues with no sign of abating.

We are also alarmed by the revolting posts on various Palestinian and Arab social media fora celebrating the killing of Israelis and urging others to carry out additional murders.  In one particularly disturbing case,  Palestinians have been distributing pictures of  the dead bodies of Israelis and the terror scenes on Twitter and Facebook.

According to reports, the most sought after photo is that of the bullet-ridden bodies of Na’ama and Rabbi Eitam Henkin.

Instead of condemning these unconscionable, barbaric attacks,  and returning to the negotiating table, as proposed by Prime Minister Netanyahu at the U.N last week, President Abbas is stoking the flames of hatred with his anti-Jewish narrative and his incendiary and false claims about Temple Mount.

The international community must demand that Abbas denounce the violence, refrain from slandering Jews and Israel through his dangerous inflammatory rhetoric, and actively work to stop a further escalation of this campaign of terror against Israelis.”

Go for it Dvir!. Not a word about what is happening in your own backyard. But then I see from the postings above that you share the same fan club as Moshe Feiglin. So why would you point to his defamatory statements?

  2. Mary Kery says:

I would like to see Mossad extract the very clever media gurus(wherever they lie) who design & initiate the successful negative campaigns against Israelis & all Jews whether in electronic or written communication or on the ground eg currant Temple Mount situation.

  3. Henry Herzog says:

There you go Gill, get yourself over to Israel and show them how it should be done. In fact. why don’t you formulate the final solution to the Palestinian problem.

    • Gil Solomon says:

      Henry Herzog,

You adopt the same ploy that all leftists do, that is never address the issues raised, just babble on emotionally to try to suppress any criticism thereby giving unqualified support to so called Diaspora Jewish “leadership” no matter what these so called “leaders” say.

    • Paul Winter says:

Henry, ” why don’t you formulate the final solution to the Palestinian problem”.

Shame on you for your obscenity which implies that Gil is a Nazi, that Israelis not on the left would be receptive to a plan to conduct a genocide and for your grossly offensive and unforgivable trivialisation of the Shoah.

If you ever get your head out of your ideology and become capable of containing your fury, you might just recall that European Jews were well integrated into their societies and most certainly did not engage in murderous acts against their neighbours.

  4. David Samson says:

ADC – you’ve got to be kidding. This is a race war declared by the arabs on the Jews and our nation. The only solution must be a similar declaration by Netanyahu and pre-emptive action against the enemy.

  5. danny kid says:

Vote Putin for Prime Minister of Israel. He knows what needs to be done.

  6. Jan Poddebsky says:

Obama has extended his heartfelt sympathy to Turkey for its recent loss of life by a single terrorist attack. I await his similar sympathy and fellow feeling for the victims of face to face continued and persistent murderous aggression on Jews and Israelis on Israeli soil within its own national borders.

    • Leon Poddebsky says:

Waste of time waiting for that to happen. He’ll never do it.
He has shown clearly where his sympathies lie.
The trouble for Americans, however, is that his sympathies and policies have and will continue to harm them, too.

  7. Gil Solomon says:

So Dvir, in a nutshell all you have to say is: “The international community must demand that Abbas denounce the violence, refrain from slandering Jews and Israel through his dangerous inflammatory rhetoric, and actively work to stop a further escalation of this campaign of terror against Israelis.”

    Is that it?
Just endless pleading, is that all you can recommend?
Israel is on fire. There is a war raging. For once in your life can you at least ever recommend military might be used against these people to crush them and bring them to their knees. By “these people” I am also referring to Abbas and the rest of the PA.

Obviously the mentality of Jewish so called “leadership” of today is no different to that of the ghetto mentality of Jewish leadership in the 1930’s. Maybe, it’s time for you to plead not to the international community but to Netanyahu and his cabinet to get up off their knees and take this war to the enemy in the only way they understand.
    Overwhelming lethal force.

      Brilliant!
      Simply Brilliant!!!

    • Paul Winter says:

Yes Gil, a statement like the following would have been appropriate:

We share the grief the pain of our brothers and sisters in Israel. We are outraged at the baseless hatred of ongoing Jew-hatred. We are disgusted by the barbarity and depravity of leaders and populations who glorify loss of life and the infliction of pain. We are tiring of periodically having to teach civilised behaviour to our neighbours who pretend that they are a peaceful nation capable of self-government.

We are sickened at the glorification of bestial behaviour by supposed statesmen and by the silence of those who loudly claim they are our friends. We are no longer prepared to tolerate the even-handedness of peacemakers who cynically and hypocritically equate antisemitic murders with self-defence by Jews, with calls for calm which fail to condemn calls for violence against Jews and with demands for concessions by the Jewish state while simultaneously supporting maximalist demands by the Jew-haters.

Enough! Peace is the highest blessing for a nation. Calls for war must be answered by giving aggressors the peace of the grave.

      • Gil Solomon says:

        Well said Paul

      • Leon Poddebsky says:

That sort of appropriate statement would be considered “extremist” by the oh so righteous (er,…self-righteous) people of the “New Israel Fund” and their like.
They strive to present to the nations as “the good Jews,” believing delusionally that they find favour in the eyes of non-Jews such as those other tzadikim, Mike Carlton, Philip Adams et al.
Bob Ashrawi pretends to love them, too.
What they really thinks of them, we can guess.

    • Eleonora Mostert says:

Thank you Gil,I’ve had a gut full of these people. It’s time ti fight back, they declared the war it’s time we finished it.
