Melbourne’s Yeshivah – Beth Rivkah students are imbued with a love of, and dedication to, volunteering and are inspired to initiate and engage in volunteer programs.

Setting the example are countless parent volunteers who generously devote time to improve the school environment. The Caulfield Volunteer Awards, kindly sponsored by Bendigo Bank – Caulfield Park Branch, set out to recognise and praise individuals who serve the community and provide behind the scenes support, and two Yeshivah – Beth Rivkah parents were thrilled to be recipients of this award in late July.

David Southwick, Member for Caulfield, who acknowledged their “tireless efforts”, presented awards to Mrs Chumi Franck for her volunteer work over many years in the Yeshivah – Beth Rivkah Uniform Shop, and Mr Benton Segal who received recognition for his volunteer work with the Yeshivah – Beth Rivkah Parent Security Group (PSG). This formal acknowledgement is well-deserved and highlights the community-mindedness of our volunteers.

Yeshivah – Beth Rivkah extends sincere mazal tov and appreciation to Mrs Franck, Mr Segal and all the volunteers who contribute generously and selflessly.
