Year 8 Emanuel School student, Alexi Bader, passed away tragically late on Saturday afternoon as a result of a kite surfing accident.

Alexi was a much-loved member of the Emanuel community and has been described by his teachers as an energetic, down-to-earth and empathic young man who was adored by his peers. Alexi loved to be outside and enjoyed playing rugby with his friends.
Principal, Andrew Watt, commented: “We are shocked by this devastating news and extend our heartfelt sympathy to Alexi’s parents, brother and family. Alexi will be sorely missed by his friends and teachers at Emanuel.
“The Emanuel School community wishes Alexi’s family long life; our thoughts and prayers are with them.”
