The World Master Games are currently on in Sydney. J-Wire tracks down some of the Jewish competitors…Bert Rosenberg and Ian Burman are both 77-year-old veterans of the tennis court. J-Wire catches them in action as they play a doubles match in the Round Robin competition….

Rozanne Green is one tough cookie. She battled howling winds on the Nepean River at Penrith in the kayaking events…along with Sydney engineer Howard Bursten. Both collected medals. The 50-year-old struggled in the poor conditions along with the other competitors but finished the race in time to collect her medal. Rozanne met up with Israeli weightlifter Sergio Britva at the Games and sent us a photo.

Tony Wober is a man who tells the tale of two cities. The 70-yr-old doctor lives both in Sydney and at the mecca of world rowing, Henley-on-Thames near London. Picking up three medals, Tony still expressed disappointment as inclement weather conditions forced the cancellation of yesterday’s rowing…and his hoped for gold medal. Tony registered as an Aussie but insisted on swapping his Ancient Mariners strip for his UK one for the boys back in the U.K.
