Arnold Roth is inviting all Australians and New Zealanders who live in or are visiting Israel to a concert in aid of The Malki Foundation…set up in the name of his daughter Malka who was murdered in a terrorist attack in Israel in 2001 at the age of 15.

The Malki Foundation, created by the former Melbournian and his wife, raises money to help children with special needs

Arnold’s message:

Malki Roth

The Keren Malki organization which Frimet and I, together with a dedicated group of close friends, formed a little over ten years ago is having a fundraising concert here in Jerusalem in twelve days time and we very much want you to come.

If you are unable to actually be with us, then we are asking that you please give your support to this first-ever Keren Malki musical event in one of two ways. One is by sponsoring a personal greeting or an ad (a business expense for most people wherever they live) in the concert journal. This will be distributed to everyone attending the evening. And the other is by selling tickets to your friends and family.

The concert is called Rainbow of Music. The program is light and fun and filled with favourites and classics – and the best seats are selling out. We do not want you to miss out. Please have a look here to learn about the performers.

The Ramatayim Mens Choir under the direction of Richard Shavei Tzion have tremendous stage presence and a powerful musical virtuosity that has justifiably brought them great acclaim in Israel and Europe. We are very proud to have their participation and support.

And the talents of our three solo performers – Shai Abramson whose day job is chief chazan of the IDF; Guy Mannheim of the Israel Opera; and the Modern-Hassidic vocalist Ohad Moskowitz – promise an unforgettable event – a musical rainbow.

On Keren Malki’s website [click here], you will find both Hebrew and English versions of the concert poster to make it easy for you to email to your friends and acquaintances. The details about buying tickets are here. And the advertising details (not only for businesses but for personal greetings) are here.

The cause of Keren Malki is a good one that helps to change people’s lives for the better. We are making great efforts to ensure that this gala concert evening will not only be a great success but will be an enjoyable night out. We are hoping you can help us make it happen.

The Concert for Malki- Rainbow of Music –  will take place on March-25 at the Gerard Becher Centre, Bezalel St, Jerusalem at 8pm.
