Melbourne’s YoungUIA Women’s Division will run a workshop next month  titled “Upskill Yourself: How to put your best foot forward.”

younguiaGuests are invited for drinks and canapes and to participate in 3 rotating workshops run by experiences professionals on leadership/management skills, negotiations skills and how to market oneself/person branding.

Our guest speakers will include Suzi Finkelstein who has over twenty years of leadership experience and brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as Executive Coach, Global Leadership Facilitator & Business Mentor. She has worked across all levels of leadership, and has an informed grasp of the conditions women face in the workforce gained from her role as Head of School, Women & Leadership Australia. She takes great pride in her specialised skills in high-level relationship management where strategic thinking, inclusive practice and cultural development flourishes.

Also speaking is Peter Singer who guides business owner and partners, corporate executives, legal professionals and unions, in all sorts of business deadlocks. He lectures in Entrepreneurship at RMIT University part-time, and coaches mediation to judges, barristers and solicitors. Peter is committed to helping others build awareness in creating better outcomes in their personal interactions to build better social and communal environments.

Finally guests will hear from Rebecca Supierz who is currently the Senior HR Manager for SEEK Ltd’s Australian and New Zealand business. With over ten years’ experience in the HR profession, including time at Telstra prior to her current role, Rebecca is passionate about leading and enabling change and helping people find their passion, particularly in digital organisations. Rebecca has worked across multiple industry sectors, leading teams in both Australia and the Philippines. She was a founding leadership team member of the Telstra Digital business unit.

Funds raised are directed towards supporting youth-at-risk in Israel.
