Robert Goot, President of the The Executive Council of Australian Jewry and Mark Leibler, Chairman of The Australia/Israel and Jewish Affairs Council, described  the one hour discussion with more than a dozen leaders as “a very warm and positive exchange of views on a wide range of issues of concern to us. We were all grateful to Bill Shorten for initiating the meeting, for listening to our views and for the views that he expressed.”

With Malcolm Turnbull as Prime Minister and Bill Shorten , seemingly, having a friendly attitude towards Jews, we can be a little confident that universal
anti-Jewish politics will not be prevalent in Australia. I stress the word
    “little”

Unfortunately Mr. Harper is no longer Prime Minister of Canada. Of all world
leaders he was perhaps the most strongly positive towards Israel- unlike
    his neighbor .

    Did Bob Ashrawi attend?
