Thousands of local and interstate visitors braved the heat to experience the many stalls, live performances and sample cuisine from the multitude of cultures represented.

Visitors to the Embassy of Israel stand were greeted with promotional fans and visors that served to keep off both the sun and rain at various times. Festival patrons also enjoyed having their name written in Hebrew on wooden beads and tied onto bracelets as part of our stall giveaways.

With over 250,000 visitors to the festival, Embassy staff were on hand to squeeze over a 1000 Jaffa oranges to give to hundreds of thirsty visitors who wanted a taste of Israel’s wonderful agriculture.

An array of information about Israel was also on offer, with tourism one of the most popular topics, closely followed by materials featuring Israel’s success stories in innovation, humanitarianism and the environment.
