Sydney-based Rabbi Pinchus Feldman and his son Rabbi Eli Feldman are participating in the two-day Living Legacy Conference in Washington.

The event, which attracts hundreds of delegates from almost every State in the U.S. and 80 countries globally mostly strong supporters of Chabad.

It honors the memory of the late Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel , who assumed control of the movement through legacy in 1950. The conference deals with government, commerce and academia exploring the necessary qualities of leadership based on examples set by the late Rebbe.

The delegates will discuss issues impacting on their communities and across the world.

Attending the conference is the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Yona Metzger, who had a private lunch meeting with Rabbi Pinchus Feldman.

This Shabbat marks the Yarzheit of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and the Feldmans will travel to New York to commemorate the event.

Rabbi Pinchus Feldman is Chief Rabbi of Chabad in NSW and Honorary Life President of the Rabbinical Council of NSW and the Patron of the Organisation of Rabbis of Australasia.

Rabbi Feldman told J-Wire: “Discussions over lunch covered a wide range of topics from intricate minutiae of Jewish Law and inspirational stories to current events.”
